The people beside you are part of the story. I look for their reactions and give gentle direction when it is time to bring everyone together for portraits.
A family-photo list helps us organize the groups that matter to you. We can choose a time and meeting spot around your ceremony and reception.
A Surrey park plan that works for your day
Booking a ceremony and planning park portraits involve different details. Confirm your chosen space and setup, then build the photography schedule around those arrangements.
Ceremony plans and park use
A separate portrait visit
Family groups and gathering
A venue-based rain plan
The City says Surrey park spaces cannot be reserved and use is first come, first served. Review the Surrey wedding and photography guidance, including the ceremony notification route, before fixing your plans.
Professional and group photography is allowed under the City’s guidelines. Stay on designated trails and open lawn; confirm the rules for your exact park and setup rather than assuming every ceremony location is available.
Choose one meeting point and share a short list of family groups. Tell me who may need a shorter walk so we can plan the portrait order around your people.
Check whether your reception venue has a covered or indoor option available before guests arrive. We can use that backup if a public park is wet, busy or unsuitable on the day.

Wedding portfolio: Jordan & Ben
The photographs on this page show Jordan and Ben’s North Vancouver wedding as wider portfolio examples. Watch their film and ask how photography or coordinated video could fit your Surrey plans.
I photograph weddings and can discuss coordinated video. Your proposal confirms coverage hours, team, deliverables and travel terms before you book.
